In this study we turn our attention to the time of the end as presented in the book of Daniel, chapters 8–12, with particular focus on Daniel 8:14 and the prophecy of the 2300 evenings and mornings.
Rather than attempting to force easy conclusions, this discussion carefully examines the text itself, acknowledging both the clarity and the complexity of Daniel’s prophetic timeline. Scripture repeatedly emphasizes that these visions are connected to a definite appointed time, specifically identified as “the time of the end,” yet harmonizing all the details across these chapters presents real interpretive challenges.
In this message we explore:
How Daniel defines and uses the phrase “the time of the end”
The significance of the 2300 evenings and mornings
The relationship between Daniel 8, 9, 10–12
Why certain prophetic statements resist simple harmonization
The strengths and weaknesses of various interpretive approaches
While this study does not claim to resolve every difficulty, it proves valuable by helping participants gain a broader, more informed perspective—understanding not only proposed answers, but also the questions that remain.
This kind of careful, honest examination strengthens our confidence in Scripture while reminding us of the humility required when dealing with prophetic themes.
